On November 18, In2Art
located at the Aldegonda Apartments,
St Ann
’s Road,
St
Ann
’s, will present Threads of Colour,
an art exhibition showcasing the works of Keith Mervyn Ward.
Ward’s paintings,
according to a release from In2Art, can best be described as uplifting and
exciting. His colours and painterly style produce works of art that are vibrant and animated. A versatile artist, Ward
explores the technical boundaries of several media and material to realise formal and conceptual ideas, through his
varying themes.
His media exploration
includes oils, watercolours, inks, acrylic,
charcoal, pastels and wood. The artist, quoting from the release, sees his
vocation in art as an opportunity for self-growth and personal expression.
On the broader level, his art provides an avenue to investigate, comment
and raise levels of consciousness on social, cultural, psychological and
philosophical issues.
Threads of Colours
consist of a body of work, created over a two-year period. The exhibition
will run until November 27.
