Karen Hale-Jackson

Born: 9^th February 1956

Karen Hale-Jackson was born in Trinidad in 1956.  Karen is a self taught artist - “I was born with a paint brush in my hand”.  As a child she spent every spare moment drawing, painting, making paper dolls and designing their clothes.

After many years sabbatical, due to family commitments, Karen started back painting in full force in 2000 and showed her work for the first time in the “Women In Art” Exhibition in July of that year.  She has shown at many joint exhibitions since then.   Her first large exhibition was in 2002 when she had a joint show with her sisters at Horizon’s Art Gallery.

In September 2006 Karen decided to leave to corporate world and start painting full time.
